JACK UP DRILLING RIG – LIVING QUARTER CONSTRUCTION
OBJECTIVES
JUDR project consists in the construction of a new Jack Up Drilling Rig to be deployed in the Caspian Sea. The contract was awarded by a JV between Keppel-Fels (Singapore) and ERSAI (Kazakh joint venture of ERC Holdings (Kazakhstan) and Saipem (Italy)). Kappel-fels took care of project Engineering while ERSAI took care of the construction in Kuryk Yard.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND SOLUTIONS
Trillini Engineering scope’s of work can be resumed in the following steps:

- On-site Construction assistance on behalf of Renco Spa (subcontractor for Living Quarter construction) with respect to the following disciplines:
- Civil/Architectural;
- HVAC/Piping;
- E&I.
- On-site Construction assistance on behalf of Renco Spa (subcontractor for Living Quarter construction) with respect to the following disciplines:
Five Specialists from Trillini-Engineering were involved since the early construction phase till the Mechanical Completion phase.
- Site Engineering activities such as as-built drawings, construction shop-drawings (when missing), clashes analysis (Electrical/Piping/Process); study, evaluation and solving of construction problems.
- Material requisition in order to guarantee on-site availability of materials required during the different phases of the construction. Procurement assistance to identify suitable supplier from local and non local market.
- Interface towards ERSAI/KFELS, the final customer (KazMunayGaz) and the certification third party (ABS) in order to identify shared solutions to solve installation problems (TQ/CR) and to validate approved exception to design specifications.
- Quality Assurance assistance.
