Project Description

PEDIATRIC HOSPIC DESIGNED BY RENZO PIANO

OBJECTIVES

The “Arca Sull’ Albero” paediatric hospice is dedicated to children suffering from rare and incurable diseases. Financed by the Maria Teresa Chiantore Seràgnoli Hospice Foundation and designed by the architect Renzo Piano’s studio, the building is developed around a square central body, reserved for hospice activities, and three external satellites connected by transparent galleries where the family accommodation and rooms serving the hospice will be housed. In this context we were entrusted with the design of special systems such as networking infrastructure, multimedia systems, access control, video surveillance and with following the operational management on site for all systems.
